Peyton goes Fishing!

Gary turned 40 this year, so we thought we should do something special for him! We decided that a nice 8x10 picture of Peyton fishing would be perfect since he got her a pink fishing rod when she was born! So we went to the river and did a little "photoshoot" done by Mommy! :) The pictures turned out great and Gary loved the photo! We chose the black and white one and put it in a really nice frame! My Tribute to Peyton!

Yesterday I went and got Peyton's name tattooed on the inside of my left wrist. I chose this place because it is on the same hand as my wedding rings and is closest to my heart! :) I love it! Here are some pictures ...

My 1st Mothers Day :)

Celebrating my first Mothers Day made me reflect on my life as a mom so far. Being a mom is one of the hardest but most rewarding things that I have ever done! I never thought that I could love Peyton as much as I do and I don't know what I would do without her! It is so amazing to me that the love that Chris and I share made this beautiful little girl and we will teach her how to be a great human being. I feel honored to be responsible for her upbringing and that she is apart of my life! I hope that one day she will have the admiration and respect that I have for my mom, for me, and that our relationship can be even 1/2 of what I have with my mom! I have always loved and respected my mom so much, but even more so being a mom myself. Again, I thank god everyday for the blessing that he has brought into mine & Chris' life! Peyton, I love you so much! Thank you for being my daughter & allowing me to be your mom! Happy Mothers Day to all the wonderful moms out there! :)

Picnic at the Park!

Last Friday, it was such a nice day out so Mommy & I decided that we should go have a picnic at the park! So we packed up all our stuff and headed out! We had so much fun, and I even took my afternoon nap there!! Here are some pictures of our little outting! Enjoy! :)

Peyton's 1st time at the Pool :)

This Sunday, Chris & I decided that we wanted to take Peyton to the pool! After checking with our Dr, we were told that cholrine is fine for her as long as she bathes right after ... so off we went! She loved it! I'm sure she just thought she was in a HUGE bath tub because she loves her bathes and really seemed to enjoy the pool too! Here are some pictures from our first day at the pool ...
