Three days overdue ...

Yes that is what I feel like ... Peyton is using my bladder as a squeeze toy! I am offically three days overdue and just waiting! I think that's all we can do is wait, and whenever she is ready she will come! :) We have a dr appt this afternoon and we are hoping that he can get things rolling ... we are hoping to have a baby by this weekend ... perferably not on Superbowl Sunday! haha! ;)
I have to tell all of you, that I think I have the BEST husband in the whole world. He had been so helpful, cosiderate, and caring throughout this whole pregnancy, but especially towards the end knowing how much I just want her here! He is going to be such a good father and I can't wait to see the relationship that him and Peyton share. I am so blessed to have him as my best friend, my husband and the father of my children!
Again, we will keep you posted and hopefully our next posting will be a picture of the new addtion to our little family :)

We're due TOMORROW!!

No this is not Peyton in my tummy, but this is exactly what it feels like! We are soooo excited that we are due tomorrow. We can't believe the day is almost here, it seems like so long in the waiting ... yet it has gone by so fast at the same time! We can't wait to have our daughter here and have our little family!
On Friday, we had a Dr Appt, and I was 1 cm dilated, my cervix was open and the doctor could feel her head ... so we're hoping that it will be sooner then later! Last night I had contractions for just over 3 hours and then they STOPPED! Hopefully just getting my body ready for labor :) We have another dr appt scheduled for this Friday (Feb 1st) if she isn't here by then, and our dr has requested Feb 5th be our induction date. We will be keeping the blog updated, so just keep checking for information!

Still Pregnant & Waiting ...
So yes I am still pregnant! The picture on the top (in the black) was taken on Tuesday at 39 weeks, and the next picture (in the purple) was taken today at 39 weeks & 2 days! Can you tell the difference? My mom thinks that I have DEFINITELY dropped since the last picture. I had a doctors appointment last Friday and he said her head was fully engaged and my cervix was softening. I have another appointment tomorrow so we will see what he has to say. I lost part of my mucous plug yesterday so hopefully something will be happening soon :) We are soooooo ready to meet her! We will definitely keep you updated on everything, and as soon as she arrives we will post pictures & all the details :)

Family Baby Shower :)

Margo (my mother in law) threw me a WONDERFUL family & family friends shower! It was so much fun, and everyone was so generous with their gifts for Peyton! She is such a spoiled little girl already! We played a couple really fun games. One where we had to smell FIVE different diapers, and figure out what type of food was in each one ... Chris played too! :) Also, one where everyone guessed the size of my belly with a string ... I have to say everyone (except for my Auntie Deannie & Pam) were WAY off! Now we are just awaiting the arrival of Peyton ... WE CAN'T WAIT!!

36.5 Weeks ... The countdown is ON!!
Yes ... I am getting huge, and loving it! Except for when I am trying to sleep! We had a doctor's appointment yesterday and everything is right on track. As of 3 weeks ago he said she would probably be a 6-7 lb baby and yesterday his exact words were "She's not going to be a small baby!" as he laughed! I guess all the protein shakes that I have been drinking (recommended by my husband) have been working! We are very excited to meet her and can't wait to see who she looks like. Our bags are packed and we are ready to go! The doctor said anytime now would be fine for her to make her appearance. We have a doctor's appointment next Friday and he will be checking if any thinning or dilation has happen. We will keep you updated :)

33.5 Weeks!
So here is my growing belly at 33.5 weeks! It is getting huge and so are the stretch marks ... which I don't care about, as long as Miss Peyton is healthy! :) This week so far has been my favorite out of all the weeks, and I think that Chris would agree! We have been watching my belly move as Peyton moves and it is one of the most amazing things to see! We laid in bed for a 1/2 hour the other night after dinner just playing "games" with her, talking to her and watching her "play" back with us! Looking forward to meeting her and seeing how active she is outside of my belly :)
